  • The class's coloured work on its Celebration Wall, fish and watermelons, the children at work below with their teacher

    Colours

Art every week, play for the senses, things they make themselves, such as a photo frame and a book of the seasons, and the colours of India's own art: Warli, Madhubani, Kalamkari, Gond and Bhil.

  • A teacher with two children at a red table, pointing to a number card

    Numbers

The numbers 1 to 20 and zero, counting back from 20, sorting, matching and making patterns, and the circle, the square and the triangle.

  3. Fruits and flowers

Healthy food, fruits, flowers, the parts of a plant, and good habits.

    Letters I, J, K, L and M and the numbers 7 and 8.

  4. Animals

Animals of the farm and the wild, birds and pets, where animals live and the sounds they make.

    Letters N, O, P, Q, R and S and the numbers 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 0.

  5. Getting about

Going by land, by water and by air, and staying safe on the road.

    Letters T, U, V and W and the numbers 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19.

  6. The seasons and our earth
